Once, I lived in the world of luxury. I was the Head of Design & Sourcing for leather belts at Ralph Lauren—immersed in the finest Italian leather, espresso-fueled meetings, and discussions about Pantone shades that felt like art. Life was a carefully curated image of sophistication.
